Rangoon red exterior, black interior body style code 76B (designates factory sports roadster), rare factory sports roadster with original drivetrain, engine and transmission overhauled during full rotisserie restoration completed in January 2014, regular maintenance performed since then, less than 58,000 original miles, original build sheet and owners manual included, new convertible top, new radial tires, power steering with "swing away steering wheel" automatic transmission, power brakes, padded dash and visors, electric clock, RARE factory a/c, Kelsey Hayes wire wheels, power drivers seat, first place winner at the 2018 vintage thunderbird international convention. History

In 1962, Ford Motor Co. introduced a limited production option for their Thunderbird model called the "Sports Roadster Package" that would only be produced for 2 years. This limited edition package included a special fiberglass tonneau cover to completely cover the rear seats making the car appear as a 2-seater roadster. To highlight this option, the car received chrome 14" Kelsey Hayes 48-spoke wire wheels, passenger grab bar, and special Roadster emblems as standard equipment. In addition to it's convenient features, the soft top was designed to fully operate without the removal of the tonneau and storage space underneath the tonneau allowed for personal items to be concealed on top of the rear seats. There would be only 1,427 Sports roadsters produced in 1962, and of those, the first 465 cars were all in a Rangoon Red over Black color combination.
